Not talking primarily of the BLM marches themselves. There were riots for months afterwards & in many states

It was so bad that really the army should have been called in to help in some places, but that would never happen because some of the state leaders were democrats.who would rather have choked on their tongue than accept help from a republican.

And when you get riots like that, any leader worth his or her salt should be condemning the violence, not appeasing anyone.

It's another Neville Chamberlain "Peace for our time' moment. The majority of people might be well meaning but when things get out of hand, they need to be addressed face on.

I don't think they have been in USA, a lot of people can't even look at something as simple as mask wearing without seeing it as a political issue. A very divided people in a lot of ways.

Of course if you are the pres or a pop star or someone important there will always be the best medicine and the best medical equipment available, and straight away, too.

The rest of us, especially any of us older ones, better cross our fingers that there is no big rush on the hospitals for ventilators because if there ever is, it's not a given we would get one no matter how badly we needed one.

Yes, sure, get the army to confront people protesting against police brutality.  Army is NOT trained to control crowds.  It is NOT their job. The US army suppose to protect the citizens.  Of course Trump wanted the Democrat control areas to get out of hand, that is why the proud boys were recruiting people like the silly kid who ended  killing 2 people.  If you start sending army against the people you end up with Tiananman square .  Actually, I have a feeling it is against constitution. 

Trump is recruiting an 'army' to fight the 'liberal mob', the democrats are recruiting volunteers to fight for democracy, by campaigning.

  My granddaughter showed me a meme on Facebook today. I had completely forgotten that Trump also dealt with a fly during a debate in 2016, lol! FLY/FLYJR 2020!!! 

   Seriously though, Ms. Harris was the clear winner last night, and unlike Pence and "Mother", she and Mr. Harris didn't feel the need to break any rules. I'm very perturbed about the fact that Pence showed clean signs of conjunctivitis, which is highly contagious, and is also one of the symptoms of Covid 19. I'm afraid that the lies he told were trumped by the lie he didn't actually tell in so many words, and he's positive for the virus. I just hope no one was infected.

If someone has Covid aren't they supposed to be in quarantine for at least 14 days?  I've lost track of all the regulations, but I thought you had to be found covid free for that time.  In which case how does he get away with it.
