Reading your link the thing that stands out is the thing I have never understood. Why did the Democrats put up such a lame duck nomination for president ? 

A drovers dog could win the election, the Democrats vice president nomination could win the election, Ronald McDonald could win the election, ............but Joe Biden ? ? ? 

Theres always the wildcard chance that he could lose to Trump.  Just more of the arrogance and treating voters like schmucks that saw Hillary lose last time.

Trump is probably not feeling too sick yet. He just went out and did a lap in a car to wave to his fans.

The trouble with the virus is (from what I have read) that the worst effects can happen a little later on in the illness, eg days 10-14.

So we'll have to see. He is in the more at risk group but even so, their death rate is about 5-7% and that should mean he has a fairly good chance of surviving. He'll have the best medical treatment there is, anyway.

I was speaking to my American friend and she said if by chance anything did happen or he was incapacitated at election time, it could make for an interesting election as his name would still be on the voting slips, most likely.

It could be even more interesting than that if Joe Biden comes down with the virus too as I presume Trump may have been infectious or coming down with the infection during their debate.

Not a huge fan of Biden, ever since he made some mealy mouthed comments a few months back about how law abiding the protesters were. Out of control rioters is what a lot of them were. The man doesn't call a spade a spade.

That's the biggest thing that annoys me about leftist political correctness. It simply ignores the truth if it doesn't suit and says it doesn't exist when anyone who takes a cursory glance can see whats really happening. If the PC brigade where more honest and just said it like it is, I think their message would be much better received. On many points the PC brigade do actually have the high moral ground, so why the need to constantly lie about things ?

Argue the case on merit, don't just ignore or try to lie away the inconvenient truths that don't suit your argument. Acknowledge and include the bad bits and state how you will address them and PC issues might gain a lot more traction in society.

Vast majority of the protests, and vast majority of the people at those protests that turned nasty, were peaceful.  Some of the violence was started by groups of armed people who came to confront the BLM crowds.  Some of the footage shown on FOX as proof of the marches being violent and destructive, was actually taken in Barcelona couple of years ago, and others were riots in Athens.  I am not saying that there were not incidents where things turned violent, but that usually happened at night, after the large crowds went home, and who were the rioters is not all that clear. 
According to the official conservative reports most of the political violence in America is by the right wing white supremacist groups.  Trump is trying to claim that Anti-fa is the most danger to the USA, yet left wing violence is only about 5% of the total.  So, Biden is correct when he says the protesters are generally peaceful.  If you watch unbiased reports you will see the protesters were people of all colors and ages, including people with children and many very old people.  They protest AGAINST violence of any kind, so YES I would say they have moral superiority.   On the other hand the right wing marches are full of armed man, carrying swastikas and shouting "jews will not replace us".
