OMG! What horrors have I helped to perpetuate? I recall with shame that infamous day when I ran a workshop in a local primary school during Children's Book Week. It was sponsored by our local TV station and and along with the film crew they brought along their mascot, Doopah Dog, who sat in the class and interacted with the kids. I shudde rnow to think how many of those poor benighted little souls must have gone home and started sniffing each others backsides and peeing against lampposts.
* Please tell me the_great_she_elephant, with what has been taking place in he US ith drag queens doing stripper routines, showimng little ones how to twerk, coming in with their names being announced as c*nti hornay, muff fishbasket (or whatever it was) and something c*ck, what are yiour thoughts on this?I think it is highly inappropriate and If it were happening in Australian libraries I would be horrified. But so far noone has shown me evidence that it is.
I woud be equally horrified if I thought Australian children were being exposed to the same gun culture American kids are - but once again, I have never seen any evidence of this.
* What about a drag queen asking littl;e ones ... "Who wants to be a drag queen when they grow up"? What do you think about that?
I bet most of those who put their hands up were girls.
And I doubt it was any more significant to any of them than being asked "who wants to be a princess?" or "who wants to be a spaceman?"

Well, obviously you view the genital stage names, stripper routines and sexual arousal stage names wrong when presented to little children. I do too.
I believe that this is now creeping info Australia and I did read somewhere about inappropriate behaviour by some drag queens in an Australian library. I won't confirm it until I come across it again.
OK, let's assume that whatshisname, the Australian library drag queen with the uploaded genital fondling pic in a group setting was an isolated incident. Let's assume that Australian drag queens selected so far somehow have higher moral standards than drag queens overseas. How much longer do we have? How much longer until the twerkers and genital-named drag queens come out and step in? Should we say .... "OK, let it continue for another 24 months as we're always about 3 years behind the US". Should we? When is the safety cut off period?
B BREITBARTLibrary Deletes Photos of Children Fondling Drag Queens During ‘Story Hour’
By Doctor Susan BerryA public library has deleted photos of small children lying on top of drag queens and fondling their false breasts at a Drag Queen Story Hour.
Multnomah County Library, the library system serving Portland, Oregon, quietly removed from Flickr the photos of the Drag Queen Story Hour that took place at St. John’s Library and then circulated on Facebook, leading to a backlash.
Young children attended the October event that featured drag queen Anthony Hudson, aka “Carla Rossi.”
LifeSiteNews archived the photos of a laughing Hudson lying on the floor, arms outstretched, as young children buried themselves in his body and fondled him.

Breitbart is definitely an authoritative source.
And once again American.

Sadly that's all you're able to do!

you seem to 'assume' & 'presume' an awful lot......exactly WHAT are you afraid of? According to the OP??
How would you feel if drag queens were reading over the airwaves (radio)? Is it about the sight of them?

1) There is no evidence that might lead us to assume it was not an isolated incident.
2) He wasn't genitally fondling children. (incidentally I am unable to find a link to this either here or in Google. If you have posted one, perhaps you could repost it for me.)
3) there is no evidence to show that drag queens have worse morals than other Australians
4) No-one, drag queen or otherwise, can work with children in any capacity without holding a 'working with children' certificate - (which requires a police check)
4 Librarians, like teachers, have a duty of care to children in their charge and no visitor would be allowed to read to them unsupervised.

Sorry it was a bit silly. The question. I just spontaneously laughed.
