Don't we send them to school so they can learn to read?
Seriously.
Seriously.
Having a story read & reading yourself - two entirely different things.
I had as much fun as my daughter did.
Of course. I read to my children, and grandchildren, as well.

Well I don't know, you would have to ask them. But I assume it is because they care.
Why not drag queens? Are they verboten in your mind?
There's a time and place for everything. The classroom is no place for Drag Queens, IMO.

They weren't in a classroom.
Video posted to social media shows members of the University of Queensland's Liberal National Club confronting one of the drag queens, shouting "drag queens are not for kids" at a public children's story time in the Brisbane Square Library on Sunday.

I agree Drag Queens are for adults, not for children.

I agree. Let children grow up unencumbered by gender confusion.
Children have better things to learn.

I have read to my childrren and my step children and now my many grandchildren.
If a Drag Queen wants to take over I would wellcome it and hope they get all the Dinosaurs names right because I have a certain grandson who will pull them up on it LOL.
I think it is a great community thing to teach Children that some may seem a little different but we are all human and in this together

They were not in a "class room". but does it matter if it is a drag queen or a Hells Angel The intention was good

I'm pretty confident that a lot of kids would disagree with you. They don't agree with old attitudes from the past. They are far more open minded and accepting of people for who they are, rather than what they are perceived to be.

Is that your expert opinion as a children's mental health professional?
Children only learn hatred and intolerance from people like yourself
Your baggage, not theirs

Well that's lucky then because they weren't in a classroom. It was story time at a library.
Do you get anything right?

And since it was a Sunday during the school holidays it can't have been a class excusion either. The children were there with their parents.
