Drag queens reading to kids

Surely everyone is allowed to have their own opinion re this matter? Or do we all ( as usual on this forum) have to go along with the mob rule?

If the mob is right then why tolerate ignorance?

What exactly constitutes a 'mob'?

Your comment appears to be addressed to me. If you read my posts you will see that in none of them have I attempted to foist a personal opinion on anyone,

#4  posed a question regarding the protesters

#10 replied to a question, by offering someone else's suggestions.

#33 corrected a fallacy - that the event took place in a classroom.

#40 stated a fact which showed the event was in no way school related.

I too am confused. What exactly are you implying? Who has been denied the opportunity to express their opinion? I notice that you have not commented on the subject at all, so it can't be you. People expressing similar opinions here are not doing so to gang up on somebody. We are all entitled to our opinions and sometimes there is agreement and sometimes there is not. But to imply (if I am correct) that the intent is to engage in a mob attack is just disrespectful of the opinions.

Where  does 'being allowed' come into the picturer? Nobody needs permission to hold an opinion. It is simply what someone genuinely believes, and howeveer outlandish or irrational it may seem to others, nobody can actually prevent them from believing it.

Well I don't know, you would have to ask them. But I assume it is because they care.

Why not drag queens? Are they verboten in your mind?

There's a time and place for everything. The classroom is no place for Drag Queens, IMO.

They were not in a "class room". but does it matter if it is a drag queen or a Hells Angel The intention was good

And just in case you missed a sad note to this whole episode:

I'm pretty confident that a lot of kids would disagree with you. They don't agree with old attitudes from the past. They are far more open minded and accepting of people for who they are, rather than what they are perceived to be.

In other words:

They've been taught to disrespect their parents and grandparents, and thumb their noses at authority figures like teachers and police.

Instead, they're being taught to tolerate men who dress as women but choose to have sexual congress with men.

Confusing much?

Gavin was a staunch conservative and was interviewed in 2017 about his opposition to same-sex marriage, despite being gay himself.
