Social media craze hits disgusting new low
A Queensland man has taken a dangerous social media craze known as "neknominating" to a disgusting new low by chugging a toxic mix of alcohol out of a dirty work boot.
The man, who uploaded video of himself performing the stunt to Facebook, fronts the camera and thanks his mate for the "neknomination".
"I'm at my parent's place … just finished the night shift," the man explains before turning to grab several bottles of alcohol.
He begins tipping cans of beer and milky liquors into a glass jar before pouring it into his work boot and skolling it.
The disgusting stunt is one of hundreds being performed by people from all over the world competing in the online #Neknominate and #NeckAndNominate chain-game.
The rules state that friends must skol a beer, film it and then dob in their friends to do the same. Those who refuse to participate even after being dobbed in risk “losing respect”.
A description of the trend on Facebook states: "Neck your drink. Nominate another. Don't break the chain, don't be a d--k. The social drinking game for social media!"
With the trend now rapidly growing, police are worried that the stunts will continue to grow more and more dangerous as participants try to outdo one another.
