Did you know you were heterosexual before you had your first sexual experience?
Yes.
Do you imagine that in order to remain celibate you have to be (mentally if not physically) a eunuch?
Yes. That is my understanding of a vow of celibacy
That is a contradiction of what you have posted in this thread
Can you show where pls?
How do you know your'e homosexual if you've never had a sexual experience?
BURNT
hold it under cold running water for at least 20 minutes
Id hold my breath under water for 20 minutes if I had your opinions.
Youcan, if I had yours I'd never want to come up for air ever again.
Nasty
Yes I can be when I'm provoked.

Did the same rigorous research that produced this statement include studies to show whether the same statistics apply to Lesbians?
Oh dear another deflection from the topic. you are so good at it, She-el.
Seeing lesbians are not on the agenda today, why don't you run along and do your own research on the subject?
Why is it a deflection? Are girls not equally entitled to our protection? If we are to be concerned that a a large majority of male homosexuals are a threat to young boys, should we not be equally concerned about a similar threat to young girls from female homosexuals?.
As for 'looking it up for myself' your statement regarding male homoxuals appears, on the face of it, so outlandish that it would be hard to know where to look for confirmation - if you can point me in the right direction I will certainly endeavour to follow it up and discover what it says about lesbians,

Not anymore, not for years. Not since Vatican 2 I think. . And if you'd met some of the housekeepers as i did I'd say the priests were safe, lol. As for celibacy I'm totally against it though. . .

I have met one, about 5 years ago. Of course they have housekeepers. Who do you think does the cooking, washing and cleaning while they are working?

Well I take iback what I said - or some of it. It was actually quite easy to find relevant information. True, it does only deal with male homosexuality and paedophilia, but I would imagine the same crieria - and problems - would apply to a sudy of female homosexuals.
PAEDOPHILIA AND HOMOSEXUALITY ~
"In principle, it should not be difficult to design a study which would provide the information needed to show the relationship between homosexual behavior and child molestation. One might, for example, take a random sample of those men and women who are 'homosexual' and find the proportion of them who can be regarded as 'child molesters.' Alternatively, one might identify a random sample of those who are 'child molesters' and see what part of this sample can be classified as 'homosexuals.' Finally, appropriate comparisons with comparable groups of 'heterosexuals' would allow an investigator to determine the extent to which child molestation is an act characteristically related to homosexual behavior ...
In fact, it appears that no such study has ever been conducted. And there are good reasons for believing that no such study ever could be conducted."
(Newton, 1978, p. 31)
It is generally held to be a dubious proposition that homosexuality and paedophilia are linked. While some paedophiles are homosexually orientated towards both adults and children, this does not in tself_demonstrate a causal association between the two. There are a number of issues:
![]() | (1) Uncertainty about the rates of paedophilia in heterosexual and homosexual men; |
![]() | (2) Uncertainty about the rates of homosexuality among adult men; |
![]() | (3) The apparent sexual preference of some heterosexual people for adult females while offending against boys. |

I suspect the real issue behind his "holiday" s not that he has declared his sexual orientation, but that he has asked his parishioners to vote for a bill allowing same sex marriage.
