I am going to need a scotch, or two, before I can start making dinner tonight.
My OH has bought some lambs fry disgusting stuff, that he wants for dinner. I will have to google to find out how to cook it and get a gas mask for the smell.
Anyone else have things they don't like cooking?

Its about 20 years since I last cooked lambs fry, no one will eat it here, but if you cook it with heaps of bacon and a tomato based sauce it is quite nice and the bacon cooking smell takes over.

I have never cooked lambs liver but Jean, if you do a really rotten job he won't ask you to do it again.
I have cooked chicken livers but only to make a pate.

It is delicious. Give it a good wash, pull off as much outer skin as you can, slice into bits about half inch thick (sorry, work out the metric for yourself) and rinse again. Roll in flour, and then cook until tender (not boot leather) Make a gravy and fry some onions, and bacon if you like.

Rinse it in salt water three times over half an hour.
Google Jamie Oliver's recipe, it has wine and W sauce in it, and is very tasty.

I slice it and roll in seasoned flour, cook slowly in a little oil with slices of bacon and onion, when cooked add a small amout of beef stock to thicken the gravy.
Serve to men only.

Serve to men only.
Why?
I wouldn't even serve it to a dog
