Easter - how do you intend to ceiebrate?

We usually have a big family gathering at ours with Easter hunt for the children. Obviously that can’t happen so it will be just me and OH. I have Easter eggs for my grandchildren but I take it I can’t go and see my own children/grandchildren as it’s not essential? I’m happy to follow the rules just hope that everyone else is doing the same. I’m not in the risky age bracket had my kids fairy young but I am doing the right thing and isolating. So Easter will be some seafood and a good wine and some board games for us - what are your plans?

I don't dwell on what i'd normally be doing. It is what it is.

Well, neither do I, Snow. I consider myself a responsible citizen, and I stick with the guidelines.

I was asked what I would be rather doing, and I answered accordingly.

One positive thing, I didn't have to cook on Good Friday.

I did actually cook on Good Friday, and it was the good old frozen fish and chips night!

Rubbish

Can't even drive around in your own car, not breathing on anybody.

That was your statement.

Given - the ' rules ' it wasn't a question of what you would rather be doing.

A minority of people complain about the rules, but most are happy to do what it takes to protect the community and loved ones at this time.

Even if it's difficult.

Well I guess I'm one of the minority that complains about it, but I'm still happy to conform to the rules, and it's not all that difficult.

But I wouldn't be a dibber-dobber either.

Or you could get creative and just do things a little differently this year.

I have just printed colourful posters of Easter eggs to stick in the front windows, and I’m going to put a basket of “hunting” eggs next to the letter box for anyone that’s walking past.
I know of grandparents who have arranged a little Skype magic trick so they can “give” eggs to their little ones.
You can even live stream church services if you’re that way inclined

Things are only miserable if you chose to let them be

Has the penny finally dropped that this carona virus stuff is serious Icy?

I am going to miss our grandchildren tomorrow.

I am trying to think of a way to put rabbit prints on the footpath at our two little grand daughters house.

They moved yesterday and the three year old is a bit worried that Easter bunny wont find them.

Not sure how I am going to manage it though...........as their dog is super alert to EVERYTHING at the moment.

This is Blinky today..................all day.

Yeah,I know...I miss my grandkiddies, too. They are also in lockdown.

Doesn't mean I'd be a dibber-dobber on my neighbours though.
