Easter - how do you intend to ceiebrate?

We usually have a big family gathering at ours with Easter hunt for the children. Obviously that can’t happen so it will be just me and OH. I have Easter eggs for my grandchildren but I take it I can’t go and see my own children/grandchildren as it’s not essential? I’m happy to follow the rules just hope that everyone else is doing the same. I’m not in the risky age bracket had my kids fairy young but I am doing the right thing and isolating. So Easter will be some seafood and a good wine and some board games for us - what are your plans?

In my family it is usually quiet too. But when my kids were young I used to plant eggs in the yard for them to do an egg hunt. I'm going to revive the hunt this year to try and have a bit of fun. It should be a sight for any of the neighbours who might catch us LOL.

Planning to order some take away from Menulog for Friday.

First one for years, I won't have extended family coming :(.

Bought some Easter eggs yesterday, and will get fresh buns on Thursday.

Major supermarkets will be trading for the first time in years for limited hours on Good Friday.

Same here.

Despite eating my fair share of Hot Cross Buns since they could be ordered online, I've got some saved for Good Friday.

For Easter Sunday I've got my traditional Darrell Lea Nougat Egg and a pack of small hollow Cadbury chocolate eggs to get through.

The cat doesn't eat chocolate so I've got them all for myself.  Smiley Wink

I've still got one bar of Toblerone and seven blocks of chocolate of from when they were on special about a month ago so being stuck at home isn't all bad.tease.gif

But Toblerone is made in Switzerland! I think you should keep it in isolation until Mother's Day, at least. Smiley LOL
