Eden-Monaro by-election results show narrow lead for Labor as Nationals concede
leys makes a point but its countered by the point the libs do the same thing when it suits them
so dont come the 'we are pure while your the bad eggs' when both parties play the same tactics

Who's leys? No mention in that article.
Not surprising the National candidate has conceded. He didn't even run any TV ads, so was hardly a credible candidate.
I noted during the campaign that about 2/3rds of the Liberal TV advertising was attacks on the Labor candidate. Some things never change.

Susan Ley. She who was dumped for using taxpayer money to fly up to Queensland to purchase an investment property. Another in a long list of LNP crooks. She's commenting on the election on the ABC.

With around 2/3 of the vote counted, Labors first preference vote down around 3.4% Liberals first preference vote up by around 1.5%.
If the bellwether characteristics of the seat continue until the next Federal election, it would be a landslide win for the Liberals and huge rejection for Anthony Albanase who has been personally campaigning hard in the electorate..
Albo's a nice enough bloke, but he's never going to be Prime Minister material. No doubt the shadow men who run the Labor party will be crunching the numbers and checking the cutlery drawer as we speak..
