I'm hoping that the Queen has decided to abdicate to make King William and Queen Katherine ....

I know Charles is next in line, but it would be so nice to modernise the system with these two wonderful young people who are up with the 21st century ...

Not possible - unless - Charles - abdicates also.
Which he will not do - he has lived his life - in line - the promotion.
When - eventually William becomes King - she Kate - will indeed be Queen.
Charles actually said many years ago he didn't want to be king and happy to skip straight to William which I thought a good idea.
But I think Charles may have rethought and doesn't want William to be burdened to early.
I heard something in the last year or so that he would take up being king if he needed to.
But I think david might be right.

I'm just not into anything to do with royalty even those parts that are still part of it Domino. Quebec mostly ignores it anyway to a great degree which isn't a bad thing thing given it's own history.
