This in #8, also from a Stepford Wife. Musn't upset the men.
"I learned quite young that there is a difference between complaining, whining, nagging, (men don't like that) and voicing an opinion on politics and current events"

If Bush had been president, the day after Pearl Harbor, he would have launched a pre-emptive strike on Brazil.
And if Obama had been president, the day after Pearl Harbor, he would have gone golfing.
Let me change that:
And if Obama had been president, eight minutes after Pearl Harbor, he would have gone golfing.
That's more accurate, there.

"Hello, everyone. This discussion is getting a little heated. The Community Spirit board exists to discuss any topic within the ambit of the community guidelines. Could we please stick to the End Of America "documentary discussion" and more importantly, communicate with a more civil tone. Thanks! "
Well, I would have liked at least the first few replys to address the video. I had not really noticed the discussion getting very heated. One of the things I like about posting on discussion boards is how a topic often takes on a life of it's own. I just never can tell where it will end up. Once a question has been answered, or a topic addressed and theres not much more that can be said about it, then I think it should become open for unlimited conversation. I never intended for this to be a bash America's current president topic, though I'm not opposed to others doing so. I have nothing against Obama, Bush, Clinton, ect. I just don't think much of them as presidents. I'm sure they all are very charming smart and some are even good looking, I just kinda see them as puppets for a greater power, put in their position for the soul purpose of taking the blame, therefore, when we point our fingers at them, we are playing right into the hands of the global elete. We should be looking past the front men to the ones pulling the strings, whoever they might be.
I have an idea what the next "documentary discussion" would be, I would like to steer it away from politics if possible, the reason I say that is because anything can be steered into politics it would seem. However I would like to hear your recomendations of what the next "documentary discussion" should be.

Because when America sneezes the world catches pneumonia. And when America will rush into another disastrous war we will sure to be the 1st to follow, regardless of costs in human lives or $, which we cannot afford.
Somebody remind me, how much did out involvement in Iraq cost? The past few weeks clearly show that our mission to train Iraqi troops was all but useless.

this one time at-
Thanks for that suggestion, but I doubt many would relate to that or have the intrest they would in say, a documentary about nature, the planets, human evolution, or things that effect at least most of us. It is a good suggstion though for one who has an intrest to learn about, just not what I'm looking for in this documentary series. Perhaps you could do your own reserch and post a topic on it.

G'day, love
Got a good topic right here, ay.
Why'dya reckon all them fish died in that Mexican lake, love. Ay?
"While the reason for the dead fish is still yet to be fully explained, locals and state environment officials are pointing to pollution caused by the factories and farms situated around the lake’s edge as the reason for the deaths.
One of those factories to be blamed is a tequila distillery that locals say is allowing its poisonous waste to flow directly into the lake."
Takes all the fun out 'o fishin, that does. Ay!

Some people just can't move past their antipathy for America. I don't understand it, never have, they roil and rant but they are speaking English, not German or Japanese, they ought to remember that.
The huge losses America has sufferd trying to protect the free world againd evil is documented and the American people love their country and they are a warm and generous people.
Ignore the scorn many like to heap, I for one am grateful to America, they are our closest ally and we should care about that.
It is no longer radical chic to love the enemy of your friends, we have moved well past the 60's but sadly many still think it's cool.

And if any other country would like to step up to the plate, now would be a great time - there's no one at the helm.
