Do Labor deserve what they're heading for? is the loathing for GIllard as deep as is reported, day in day out, in the media & feedback. The backlash on her crying in parliament is frightening.
Her demeanour is vicious in the parliament, her personal attacks & vitriol seen by many as her greatest failure.
Her failed attemps to re badge herself as caring Julia, the real Julia, the tough as nails Julia, et al have only consolidated voters views that she is phoney.
Does she deserve the title of the worst PM in history, presiding over the worst government in history, surpassing even the monumental disaster of the Whitlam government.
How will her colleagues feel after their careers have been cut short & their reputations ruined.

Frightening? seriously?
two remarkable things have happened this week. The first was the federal budget, which announced an $18 billion deficit, cut back on handouts, took more in tax, and funded enormous projects in education, infrastructure and disability services.

I think that because they are full of ex union officials and lawyers that there is not much hope for them.
Labor has had troubles over the last two PM's so I don't think that it is an individual problem but the "group of individuals" that are leading the party.

Lightning I agree. The backlash on our PM showing emotion in Parliament is FRIGHTENING
Sophie's candid camera and pluck moves Gillard to tears
When Ms Gillard went to Brisbane last week to sign a similar deal with Queensland Premier Campbell Newman, a young man named Sandy, 17, who has a disability similar to cerebral palsy, handed her a thank-you card illustrated with the photo of her that Sophie had taken the week before.
Ms Gillard fought back tears on Wednesday as she recounted the story. Sophie's mother, the veteran disability campaigner Kirsten Deane, said she was not surprised her daughter had made an impression on the Prime Minister.
''One of the things we've always said about Sophie is she's quite unforgettable,'' Ms Deane said.
Prime Minister Julia Gillard during question time on Wednesday
''She loves going to school, she loves her brothers and sisters, she loves playing on the monkey bars, she's a gun at dancing, she loves to run, she loves television.
''She's just like all the other 12-year-olds you know, and just like every other 12-year-old she was really excited to meet the Prime Minister.'' Ms Deane said Sophie immediately took a shine to Ms Gillard.
''Once she slipped her hand in the Prime Minister's hand, she wasn't letting go,'' she said. ''It had a really big impact on her.''
For Ms Deane, Tuesday's budget, which set out a 10-year plan to fund DisabilityCare nationally, is the fruition of many years of hard slog.
''Today is a really, really important day for the country, because it means finally kids like Sophie and Sandy will get the support they need to get out there and do the things that they want to do,'' she said.
Speaking personally, Ms Deane said she and her family had long had a knot in the bottom of their stomachs when they thought about what would happen to Sophie when they were no longer around to look after her.
''That knot eases just a little bit, because we know that in the future, her needs will be taken care of,'' she said.

So announcing a $18 billion dollar deficit is remarkable??? Announcing a NDIS that is only 1/4 funded is remarkable & infrastructure of $18 billion wasted on school halls & covered walkways is remarkable, what about the pink batts fiasco & the 4 deaths that it caused?
Some people are so one eyed it's a waste of time.
This post is about the destruction Labor is heading for! nothing to say on that?

Well az why are they $9.00 and the LNP $1.05 to win? You had better get some money on them as the odds are great.....
LD this is interesting from Graham Richardson
Budget was last will and testament

and on Julia on her FAKE tears even though Richo is sticking to the line that they were real... I still think that Mcternan was under the table biting her on the ankle to make her cry looking for the sympathy vote, (that hasnt worked... ) She is so FAKE
"What Richo wrote"
During the afternoon I was listening to talkback radio and what I heard rocked me to my core. Callers and emails were heard and read one by one. Virtually all of them accused the PM of putting on an act to gain sympathy.
It would appear that many Australians now loathe her so much that no matter what she says or does they will find a fault.
If this kind of hatred were limited to the odd few it wouldn't worry me too much. You can always make allowances for the odd nutter. But what I heard on Wednesday demonstrated that this problem is far more widespread than that.
He also said in the same story
I have been and will continue to be highly critical of the PM and the Treasurer because they have squandered a reputation for competent economic and financial management that Bob Hawke and Paul Keating strived so hard to build and maintain.
The Australian public cant wait for the election to give the worst govt in our history the mother of all floggings and send them to the back benches for a decade or more.

I think betting on an election result is appalling so no thanks..... and I still hope for someone to show up who can lead us into a better future.

I would like to add that i think Gillards tears were genuine... but I think they were tears of relief, exhaustion, and sympathy..
She has had travelled a long road this year and I think she is a tough chick to survive what a lot of people could not...
I don't think it was all about NDIS..
