They spend an estimated 200 Million a year. THey're in a privilage situation by doing nothing more than being born in the right blood line and even with the best given to them they still barely scrape through basic qualification.

How much have they contributed to our economy this week? Not their direct spending, but the tourism, fashion sales, publicising Australian places etc.
It's the same wherever they go, huge media attention.
Not that I think they're vital for Australia, I would rather we had our own figure head. Can't think who, tho.
apparently the clothing the same as that which George has worn, has sold out in stores and online.

It's a nice bit of nostalgia for us descendants of the people that were outcast from England not so long ago.
We like the English royals to come and acknowledge us.
And they are so nice. Love the Duchess, love her style, love the gracious Prince and love His Royal Cuteness Prince George he's just Georgeous!

What most of us seem to forget is that both, Prince William and the Dutchess of Cambridge have worked for a salary like any other normal citicen and both have qualifications for jobs that the majority of us do not have.
I don't want to google what their qualifications are, but in times of need, they could both do with less and earn a living. Princess Dianas influence on her boys has paid dividents. They both seem to be very in tune with the world. Not like their father who did not know that peasants were people to be greeted and rcognised.
Being born into huge wealth does not seem to have spoiled their personality. Being envious of them does not show much of our personality.
Nobody asks to be born, or born to certain parents.
As far as I am concerned, William and Kate are a lovely couple. One day they may or may not be the King and Queen of England. Time will tell, but I think I won't be around to see it.
