From the ABC News website.
I'm impressed. The last time I flew around the World I did it in "comfort" (if that's what you can call Economy class, without laughing).
What an amazing lady, what an amazing plane.

I have always been amazed at the fortitude of those pre WWII fliers, both men and women. In a day when an autombile engine would hardly run 50 miles without a breakdown, aviators would unhesitatingly fly hundreds and thousands of miles.

Thanks, Kopes, I'll have a look at that.
I must confess that it was the aviatrix that caught my attention rather than the feat of aviation.

Goodness me, just listen to that commentator? That accent, very crisp, very clear and full of enthusiasm?

I wondered if there were two commentators, I'm sure I detected some Aussie drift on the later commentaries?
