Yep,
She had a charcoal grey smeared face after cleaning the fireplace, took a stretch limo to the local disco, missing a curfew, she dropped her 6" red high heel shoe on the way home, and was chased up by a rich Prince with a heart stopping kiss. And they lived happy ever after.

I doubt I'll watch it on cable. I'll give it 10 minutes....maybe. It needs Klingons in it!
Lots of free publicity for the film. In France 12 year olds can see it. Is it a big deal...don't know?
Malaysia banned it. The Motion Picture Association of America rated it "R," meaning that children younger than 17 need to be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian. The British Board of Film Classification gave it an "18."
And then there's France.
The Centre National du Cinéma et de L'image Animée (CNC) gave the film a rating of "12," meaning that only children under the age of 12 are prohibited from seeing it.

It's sadistic porn. The more people are exposed to that sort of thing the more it becomes normalised.

This movie is no different to any other movie where the female character is weak............
Its just another stupid movie.
It sounds like the books are better as you get the whole story.
I really dont understand why women are wetting their undies about it or the books.

Because most of them lead boring, sex starved or boring sex lives and this gives them a few jollies

LOL Flake. Good call. I don't get why women are "wetting their undies" over being abused or getting treated like **bleep**???

Several analyses, including an article published in 2013 in the Journal of Women’s Health, have found the Fifty Shades series to portray characteristics associated with abusive relationships. The protagonist, Ana Steele, is emotionally manipulated by Christian Grey, who withholds affection and threatens violence outside of BDSM scenes, and controls many aspects of her life, including socially isolating her from friends and family. He takes advantage of her inexperience to coerce her into sex and at one point deliberately uses alcohol to compromise her ability to consent. His initial warning for her to stay away is a tactic often used by abusers as a way of later shifting responsibility and blame onto the victim.
