Speaking of this movie. I haven't seen it or read the book but roughly know what it's about. So women are turned on and find it erotic to be abused and be treated like **bleep**?
Apparently so, Bob, judging by the movie reviews it's a box office hit grossing $300 mil, which I think is gross in itself.
Seems the more we try to stamp out sexually aberrant behaviour, the more it's peddled to the public, the more people like to watch it for entertainment.
It's a vicious and disgusting cycle.

Sure, you just confirmed what some men or women thinks. It's not stalking or harrassment or abuse if the guy is hot. This movie just confirmed women find it OK to be treated like **bleep** and be abused if he is hot. So women reading and watching this movie by the droves are condoning and are essentially the root of their own problem, right???

One of worst pieces of writing I think I have ever come across so I wont be bothering with the movie even if it comes free-to-air.
love the pic btw

Nope, just proving the point, you're the cause of the problem:)

So, I'm a woman and I've read it, (and assuming you've read what I wrote above) what does that make me? You quite like generalisations don't you?

If you had read more than a few of my posts on this forum, you would have an idea of my attitude to social issues, humanity and the treatment of others, and you would have seen my post (as others have) as a light-hearted joke.
I shouldn't have to explain, but I will. I have no knowledge of the book or the movie, and I wouldn't waste my time on either. Simply not interested. If it is something to do with sex, then I sure wouldn't learn from it. Already have that knowledge.
