NASA plans to land the first woman and the next man on the moon by 2024. I wonder what she will say when she takes her first step?

The physical and mental strength required to become an astronaut is incredible. To be selected for a mission means the astronaut stood out amongst the others. But to be selected to land on the moon is an honour that only 12 people have achieved to date. Hopefully, history will be made in 2024 and many young women and girls around the world will be inspired and believe they too can realize their dreams and ambitions.

Gosh that's a bit of a gap between the first moon walk and the next walk by a woman. 55 years!

No really. A human being has set foot on the moon already. Does it really matter, man,or woman? Black or white? Gay or straight?
Are we not all humans?

55 years later a woman sets foot on the moon.
Ok,nice, and good on her.
But really, 55 years later and it's some kind of first?
