I was sittin' at a red light in my 406
With two four-barrels and a 4-speed stick
I heard a loud noise coming up behind..........
A big bad Chevy with a 409
I waited a minute til the light turned green
He pulled up alongside me, lookin' real mean
He rolled down his window and glanced at my flags
With a smirk on his face, asked if I wanted to drag.
I said, "No, at least not much,"
But when the light turned green, I popped the clutch.
I grabbed second gear, and was winding like mad..........
But the Chevy train-lengthed me, and I knew I was had.
That '90 was nasty, and I knew it wasn't stock.........
"Cause he ripped me a new one from block to block.
Well I learned my lesson, and read the sign..........
Now I have my own 409.
