OK i'm back for a bit.
Word of advice, don't die unless you are rich.
I have just had a quote for a pre paid funeral for my elderly mother.
It will be a burial beside my Father, which is a double plot made of granite, plot and grave paid for already. This will mean they will need to lift the granite top on her side $440, the casket I chose is a rosewood/rosedal with a flat lid and gold handles $1,078.00 Notice in the local paper $198 Flowers $198 Grave preparation $825 Copy of Death Certificate $51 Clergy to do funeral $330 Funeral announcement over local radio $79.20 Funeral Service Fee $2,574.
$5,773.20

He's been here all afternoon, lying down now. You can walk right past him and he won't budge. Well not too close and I don't go up to him but I walked back & forth five times the other day and he just looks
