What do you know about it?
I was told that one Mason could identify another Mason by shaking hands with them.
Apparently they have some special secret handshake.

What is supposed to happen to all their regalia when they pass away or go into a nursing home or whatever?
I was surprised to see a little case with apron etc in the window of the local Vinnies a couple of months ago.
I don't know anything about the Masons except that "we" Catholics had nothing to do with Masons.
I thought that the person who donated the items to St Vinnies was extremely disresptful to whoever used to own the items.
But as I said I don't know anything about the Masons so maybe the donation was OK.

That is interesting Bump.
My grandfathers went to my uncle.
You would think they should be handed back to a Lodge if no relatives or unwanted?

I think the Friendly Society chemists and nursing homes are organised by the Masons.
Bundy has a very strong membership.
Many years ago my dad joined the masons because we were really poor and he needed a discount for powdered goat's milk for my sister who was born premmie.
He stayed with them for some time but to this day he will not tell me what the meetings were about.
