She refused to sign a prenuptial agreement ­before the couple's 2009 wedding which is expected to cost Edelsten dearly.

Court documents filed in the US this week claim Edelsten has a $100 ­million fortune in Australia.

Negotiations between the couple are believed to be under way, but could be held up by bankruptcy proceedings in the US.
