Germaine Greer has spoken out about the Duchess of Cambridge's second pregnancy, saying the duchess " has a b…..d of a job" and
is under too much pressure to produce more children.Read more: http://www.smh.com.au/lifestyle/life/germaine-greer-the-duchess-

The "so soon" comment was because the heir and the spare needed to be produced before too many years went by, and in Greer's opinion, her body was not ready.
Empathy? Wow.
WIth *friends* like Greer, I don't know that Kate needs enemies.
But of course Greer is not a confidant of Kate's, nor does she seem to respect the choices Kate's made.
Greer has a particular axe to grind, and Kate's head was on the block.
Ultimately, I think it reflects very poorly on Greer, and obscures and diminishes what is a genuinely extraordinary legacy, at least for the time being.

Sure Kate was vilified. Why is this so hard for some people to understand?
Greer vilified with ignorantly biased assumptions about Kate as a helpless child unable to make adult choices in a proper fashion.
Incredibly presumptuous and insulting.

Did you read what the article was about?
It was about a Newsweek survey that was a surprise to the writers because most people did not what to be in Kate's position, eeven for a single day. They interviewed Greer and others to get their response. None of those interviewed, including Greer, vilified Kate. They just gave their opinion, which is entirely what they were asked for.
Was she supposed to fabricate an answer instead? She discussed the issue from her perspective.
And btw, none of us know if she knows or has met Kate in her life.

The question is am I a feminist if not why not
To be fair I would say it would be wrong of me to say I am as my view is not 100 % in line with the feminist ideology, (pauses to allow them on to gather their pitch forks)and here is why feminism as I see it is idealistic in that it has very honourable , far reaching goals , which in them selfs are great if we lived in a world where ideologies could co exist in harmony unfortunately we don't. (Pauses once again to allow the mob to grow and orginse)!
No, I would never ask if you're a feminist because it's obvious you're not. I think you're of the patriarchal generation and have that sort of view of life. I don't condemn you for that.
I don't know why you always have to throw in the little attack barbs about pitch forks and the like. It is not necessary and rather an insult to other posters.
I don't think Germain Greer is inflexible so much as educated, informative and interesting. She's a thinker and a scholar, qualities that are not usually associated with a closed inflexible mind. I find her rather amusing.

Yes.
Some are remarkably inflexible as well.
