Her comments were unacceptable and hurtful to a young mother.
Why is she being defended on here, the sisterhood flew to the defence of Ms Gillards but have a blind eye when this lovely young woman is attacked.
Greer is a ratbag and nobody with an ounce of sense takes any notice of her.
She's disappoiinted and bitter and spreads it around for no good reason.

"This lovely young woman" was NOT being attacked.
Please read the article in full.

So Polk , no thoughts on my answer to your question?
And let me ask you a couple of questions are you anti men's rights?
And do you support fixing the inequity in dealings with child acess and divorce settlements that automatically favour women?
1. I'll read your answer and respond later.
2. No. Of course not. Men will never be liberated until woman are.
3. I know very little about access and divorce today. I doubt very much that the court automatically favours women. I only know that divorcing couples today are so lucky that they don't have to go through what people did a few decades ago. Thank you, Gough Whitlam.

I agree.....I have been surprised anyone bothered to defend Greer.......and still don't get why they do.......Most of Greers comments
about women come across as patronising and condescending to me.....I have also read comments by Greer giving women advise on a
happy marriage.....something else she doesn't seem qualified to talk about.

Have you even read my comments here? I've been very complimentary of Greer, and my criticism is aimed at her "approach" here and its potentially stifling, oppressive and shaming effect.
