This topic has been discussed a few times on this forum, however, an anonymous poll as never been taken.
Do you really believe in man-made global warming?

while this is true, it also is the equivalent of poking ones head firmly in a bucket of sand.
You've got me totally wrong because I see it all from a totally selfish viewpoint.
That being that if I get really lucky I might live for another 20-25 years, but no matter how long I have left I'm not going to give a flying stuff what happens to the earth after I'm gone.
I have no other family members left after me or anyone else I deeply care about so I really don't care if the world disappears into a flaming ball of light the second after I draw my last breath.

The earth has been going through cycles of heating and cooling since it's creation, and will continue to do so long after all of us are dead and gone no doubt.
Nothing in nature ever remains the same, never has done.
😄 No one can argue with you!

whilst i feel for you mooma. i find that attitude appalling, but not uncommon. there are many with children and grandchildren who are similarly glib about the future, and they are even more difficult to fathom. i care about my childrens future .. even the ones who dont talk to me.

I agree and I suppose that's the kind of thinking that explains the need for things such as the Carbon tax , the EPA and other measures .

Who could deny that the Earth has gone in and out of multiple Ice Ages?
Only someone with their head in the sand surely! 😉

Carbon tax!
The biggest joke of the 21st century :^O
All it really means is that they will now be taxing you for the very air you breathe, nothing more, nothing less.
You can be sure that they'll be wasting the money they gather in from tthat just as quickly and foolishly as they do with all the other taxes they've found a reason to hit us all with during the past half century or more.
