The thread where in the OP you stated that believing  God is a He was "stoopid" - would that count?  Considering the fact that Christians believe Jesus is the son of God and referred to Him as His Father?

The title of this thread is actually my belief. I believe "God" is the Universal Source of all this is. This is my belief. Why would I denigrate my own belief.

The title "Jesus has a Wife". There has been a fragment of code discovered that implies Jesus had a wife. Where is this denigrating religion?

The title "bore me silly" refers to the fact that religion (or rather reading quoted scriptures) and politics bore me. I can be bored can't I without it being called 'denigrating'?

I think you're clutching at straws meep. I vaguely remember the thread but not what I said, but I certainly have an opinion that assigning a gender to God was questionable. I am allowed to have an opinion .. am I?

You seem to be the only one (besides the doomsdayer) that believes my 3 threads on religion last night were "mocking religion". Is it the "multiple" that mocked? Was it the topics themselves?

meh - I'm a fence sitter in the whole thing and even I saw those threads for what they were - the one about politics and religion sort of summed it all up for me and illustrated your intent.

Back peddle away, but the facts are that you took a miserable and mean spirited shot that showed a lack of empathy and tolerance and you hurt a few people in the process.

I didn't say you are denigrating religion. You are denigrating those who DO denigrate religion. I can't speak for Crikey, but my sense is that when he says you "denigrate the opinions and beliefs of others", I don't think he (she?) meant religious people, but people like Bob and myself. I could be wrong though. I've been watching the Walking Dead season finale, so my attention is divided 🙂

And I respect Buddhism very much, probably more than any other world religion, with the possible exception of Taoism.
