Going grey

I want to go grey, in fact I am really excited about it. Call me odd!

I was quite inspired reading this blog yesterday. I keep looking at my hair and hating the colour.

All I need now is for it to grow long and I may need to add some colour (son home after 2 years)17553772_10155151245891085_8137572951245937362_n.jpg

Nooooooooo Donna.    Don't colour it.  Leave it grey.   Just grow it a bit, I reckon.

Fine lookin' boy there.   Bet you're glad to have him home.

I actually do not mind a few streaks of my natural colour in it, just subtle not sure

Just between you, me and the lamp post, Donna....

I have very grey hair like yours, but just on the top and sides.

My (very clever) hairdresser has done ash blonde streaks to blend in with the grey.

There's really no regrowth to be seen.   It's really cut down the costs.

My hair is just past my shoulders and all one length.  blondee.gif

I go every 3 months for a trim and to make myself feel better

oops.gif  Oh noooo.....I've said too much.   My cover is blown!

I plan to be grey without looking grey but I cannot do the root thing any longer, no way it is ridiculous

I plan to go to the Japanese hair straighteners soon so it will look modern without that 'old ladies' look lol

The befores and afters look impressive, if they can be believed.

Not sure how 'permanent' it is

Try changing the way you wash your hair - might make a difference to the fly away greys

My hairdresser is impressed.
