Would be nice playing at Nambucca heads Island golf course but it looks like the fairways aren't all that wide.

That's why I love living here in Yarrawonga, good.gif

45 golf holes,(2 eighteens and a nine hole course).

$285 per year membership fees,($7 comp fees).

More sunny days then Queensland,blum.gif

Moved back up here last year as we where living in Portland,(where you either get used to playing in the rain

or you don't play a lot of golf),blush-1.gif

Six months ago I was on 6 but haven't been playing the best for a few months,(anchored on 11 at present).

Good hitting, may your strikes be sweet an accurate, good.gif

Golfers ! I think they are a breed of their own.

My OH left early this morning to meet up with some mates in Melbourne for a round of golf.

I am sitting here 100Km away, looking out the window at the rain and listening to the thunder, shaking my head.

Those nuts golfers will be out on the course playing their game regardless of the weather.

It's only water,(good wet weather gear nullifies that) blum.gifgive_rose.gif

I only had to use mine twice this year,(compared to 40 odd in Portland), good.gif

It is a popular place for golfers,(Black Bull is nearly finished as well so that will be another 18 holes just up the

road), secret.gif

Re: Golf th is morning I think... and then a swim

We usually stay in town, not on course, and play both Yarrawonga courses, Cobram, Corowa and Tocumwal. Might have a look at Black Bull, I've heard a bit about it.

While on the subject of courses, we were lucky enough to play at St Andrews this year, on the Jubilee course. Not necessarily the best course I've played, but certainly the best experience.
