Would be nice playing at Nambucca heads Island golf course but it looks like the fairways aren't all that wide.
That's why I love living here in Yarrawonga,
45 golf holes,(2 eighteens and a nine hole course).
$285 per year membership fees,($7 comp fees).
More sunny days then Queensland,
Moved back up here last year as we where living in Portland,(where you either get used to playing in the rain
or you don't play a lot of golf),
Six months ago I was on 6 but haven't been playing the best for a few months,(anchored on 11 at present).
Good hitting, may your strikes be sweet an accurate,

Golfers ! I think they are a breed of their own.
My OH left early this morning to meet up with some mates in Melbourne for a round of golf.
I am sitting here 100Km away, looking out the window at the rain and listening to the thunder, shaking my head.
Those nuts golfers will be out on the course playing their game regardless of the weather.

It's only water,(good wet weather gear nullifies that)
I only had to use mine twice this year,(compared to 40 odd in Portland),

We have a week (with a group) in Yarrawonga every year. Love those river courses
It is a popular place for golfers,(Black Bull is nearly finished as well so that will be another 18 holes just up the
road),

While on the subject of courses, we were lucky enough to play at St Andrews this year, on the Jubilee course. Not necessarily the best course I've played, but certainly the best experience.
We where over there in 2000 but I never got to play there as I had hand surgery a couple of months
earlier(visited the pro shop, the museum and just walked the 17th and 18th),
The journey in past the piggeries was different,
