GOOD MORNING Rose, Katy, Hawk, Flannie ...... 
What a day it was yesterday, the party went beautifully and yes, the birthday girl did break open the soup maker and piled the veges in (no bones though ... 
) and we each had a taste, it was wonderful. Hmm! Wonder if I should get one, I do have the high powered blender that makes soup and the friction heats it, but it's not quite the same .... 
Watch this space .... 
The banana cake didn't quite get there, we made two dozen decorated cupcakes with a candle on each instead, that way, we lit the candles individually, sang happy birthday several times, and then blew our own candles out with her and ate our own little cake. Anyone who was touchy about someone blowing over a big cake was quite relieved it was done the that way, and it was just as much fun for 27 people to share 24 cakes!
Hubby accompanied the birthday song on a piano that sounded like it hadn't been tuned for thirty years, it was hilarious, and that's why we sang it a lot to try to find a key that actually worked (which didn't) .... 
Nice egg up there! That would give new meaning to a "double omelette" ....

Doggie day care in open again. grrrr. (that's me, not the canines lol) Mindy has had a haircut, not a poodle cut thank goodness.
We have Jacob here today for his usual monday with nan (and pop) They have gone across the road to the park, so all is quite atm.
My eyes are not so good today, so will catch up later.
