Katy I am not a good sleeper usually 1 or 2 am for me as well.

Tas I do miss the birds in Australia, I had so many birds friends when I lived in QLD.

I should not watch the news, I want to grow wings and fly around the world slapping world leaders who think it is Ok to kill in the name of religion and greed for land.

Have we learnt NOTHING by past history

I'm just rushing off now as the 'troops' will be here shortly fully armed with sandwiches, slices, cakes, soup etc ... a day with a whole crowd of quilting friends at such short notice, oh my, there goes working today ....  but hey, I don't care, thirty or so people fit into the house quite comfortably ...

Lion, not much chance for birds to make a home in your backyard there. They would be wary of Lily.

Annie, good to hear bub had a good night. It does help baby and Mum cope with the day.

Only granddaughter today after all. She is working her way through a bowl of fruit loops. They are only allowed to have them when at nan's, and only on school hols. Lol. I didn't buy them, their mum did. 🙂

Morning all.

My day to visit the older generation. OH was up early (while I slept in :)) and made egg and bacon pies for them. So they will have pumpkin soup (thanks Annie) and e and b pie this evening. Hope someone does the same for me one day. lol.

back from mil's 80th birthday  lunch ,was yummy ,she had a lovely day ..we all did !
