Bit of a wild night here overnight too but most of it missed us here as the storm took a sharp angled turn to towards the mainland, was amazing to see it happening on the live satellite radar site.

That would have been a most spectacular "show" of lightning Katy. So beautiful, yet so dangerous depending on where you are. I remember something like that happening here in Tasmania a few years ago and it was really strange being this far south and seeing a "tropical-like" weather event, it went on for hours. We sat up and watched it through the big windows, it was everywhere.
