Evening all. Almost bedtime actually. Tas you will fall in love with the little dog. I have a maltese cross and she is the best dog ever.
My day to visit Mum and FIL. Went to chip a few weeds for Mum ( that I poisoned earlier) and copped a handful of splinters from the old shovel she had. Still picking them out. 😞 Maybe a new shovel handle is in order.
Thinking of you and family Annie. xx

Good morning all ... xxx
Oh my, Katy that must be so sore ..... , watch out for infection won't you xx
Can't wait to have the little dog here for those three weeks, what fun and what an experience.
We have only looked after a dog for roughly twelve months while we looked for, and found a forever home for her. She was a border collie, gorgeous girl and a rescue. Ended up with a family on 50 acres, Mum, Dad, and two children who loved her dearly and she loved them too.
Having a good weekend, hope everyone here is too ....

Good morning.
Three kids here today. Melbourne Cup holiday tomorrow, so the teachers have given themselves the monday as well. Why am I not surprised. lol. OH awarded himself a day off too. Only a couple of weeks work left and then he will semi retire.
Hand is ok Tas, still have two small splinters to dig for. Just psyching myself up first. 🙂
Lovely sunny day and OH is out the back finishing the greenhouse. Will be nice to have late tomatoes this year.

Has been raining all day, now it is a fine evening.
Went to a BBQ yesterday, so nice I ate heaps, beautiful Salads, I really liked one that was roast veggies and spinach.
Hope every one is having a great start for Summer, has not arrived here yet.

Afternoon.
Sounds good Lion. I like it when other ppl make salads. Always seem to get some good ideas from them.
OH and I heading around to grandkid's soon to conduct the family sweep. Kids are excited, chocs are the prizes.
I won't be in until probably tomorrow evening. Bro. had an accident on the farm and broke his heel. I need to make sure Mum is stocked up with food, and her meds. He is a bit mobile, but can't drive so he won't be going into town to shop for her for a while. I will stay overnight and come back after lunch tomorrow. At least that is the plan.
Enjoy the Cup everyone.

I could cry I had 5 11 12 in a boxed trifecta, never mind should have had a each way bet.
I dont know how to full out a betting form so a Maori guy at the pub showed me how.
It is all automatic, full out the card, put money in a machine and out comes your slip.
The nice guy had number 5 so hope he had heaps on it.
