Morning all.
I have taught all three of my kids to drive. That is why I have the gray hair I think. The youngest boy was the worst cause he knew it all already didn't he. ๐
Been out for my usual strong pain relief (tramal). I ran out last week and was not a happy camper. Ducked into Vinnies while I was out and scored a stack of corningware mugs. Don't know why ppl get rid of them, they last for years. They look new too.
OH is out doing a little maintainance work this morning, wish he would do some at home. lol.
Have a good day all.

Good evening,
Katy, Mike tried to teach me to drive, I drove up the road pulled in for petrol and got into the passenger seat.
When we got home I phoned a driving instructor as I could not put up with m
Mikes nagging and putting his foot like he was braking in the passenger seat ๐
Hot day here, just potted some plants, had to drag the big bag of potting mix along the ground to heavy to carry, need a handy man, one who cooks cleans lifts all the heavy stuff then goes home LOL

Hi Katy I hope you get some relief from the pain tonight
Hi Rosie you need a hand trolley to move things around
I thought my days of being driving instructor were over long ago and then circumstances occured were that I had to teach #1 GS he listened well and learnt quickly and got though his Ls and his P1s end next month all with no mis haps or tickets.
and I thought that was the last time and then things changed again and its #2 gs turn now, he has has two pro lessons in the last two weeks and this week he has a double on Fri and all ready booked for his on road test next Wed.
and that will definatly be my last, getting too old for all of this.

Hi Hawk, yes I do need a trolly, thing is people help to put stuff in the boot for me then I have to find some one to get the stuff out.
Drove around with three 30 Kg bags of stones for a week till my son came over and lifted them out for me.
So I need a little crane as well ๐

Thanks Hawk, feeling a lot better now thanks. Pity I have to rely on the heavy duty meds, but that is the way it is.
You do need a garden trolley Lion. I use mine for garden stuff, and to bring grocery bags in, if OH is not around to help.
Night all.

Driving lessons is one of the best times to share with your kids.
I love it. The one on one time with the young adult child, just cruising for a chat and to spend time together.
The stressful part doesn't last too long and the practice sessions are great times.
