I have been wondering how you were getting on Hawk. Sounds like you are finally getting the boys settled.

Hello to Lion back there too. 

Hope everyone here is ok, and enjoying life. 

I have finally settled down into a routine ( I think). Mum is now in care, and I spend two afternoons a week with her.

Not so much babysitting now, as the youngest grandchild started school this year. The rest of the time, just the usual housework, shopping etc.  Bit boring, but unavoidable.

I have been collecting succulents so I can do some terrariums. Grand daughter and I made a small one this morning. She was so happy to take it home with her, especially as she chose what went into it.

Will check in a bit more often.

Hi Katy yes we are finally getting there. 

Doing lots of different things to keep busy here, so much so that time just evaporates into a blur.

Not riding as much as the guy I rode with on Wed has had a split with his OH and I pulled out of the social club as I just didnt seem to have the time to put in.

Hopefully after the last of the legal stuf is sorted I may get a bit of my life back and do some me things.

Just do a few things for yourself as life is too short not too.

Life is definitely too short.

I have also been trying to do me things and as someone said, don't try to please everyone else.

So I say NO more often now and am slowly getting some things off my list.

Got to go for a bike ride today, friends are involved with a classic bike group, did a run from Adelaide up to Cudly creek for morning tea and then Mannum for lunch, then across the ferry and a run down to Walkers flat and across the ferry again and then home.

was nice to get out and about.

I will say hi to OH when she returns, she has gone walk about for a week, due back Tues and then has plans to wonder off again latter in the month.

I am just waiting for a Gallbladder OP, could be waiting up to 4 months, so much for the great medical in NZ, one month down matbe 3 to go.

Cant plan a trip or any thing till this is done.

The thing with children is does not matter how old they are you still worry about them and try to sort out their problems, I find I dont handle stress that well these days, but I will always be here for them

What a day it is going to be ... one where there will definitely not be enough hours between here and daybreak tomorrow to get everything done.   No complaints though, it will be worth it by midnight ...

Hello all.

Shame that you have to wait so long for your op. Lion. Especially if you are not feeling great. Had mine done years ago, had a two year old at the time. Asked the doc if I could put it off lol. No such luck so in I went. No keyhole surgery back then either, was a big op.

Sounds like you had a relaxing ride Hawk. Hope you OH is going ok, and is making some time for herself as well.

First really coldish day of the year. We haven't needed the gas heating on yet, but think it will not be long before it goes on.

The time will go quickly and it will all be over before you know it, just a big nuisance when you have plans to do other things and go places.

I hope to have the Key hole one but you dont know till you wake up 🙂

The Key hole one you only have to stay in hospital over night, if they give you the big cut have to stay about 4 days.

In the end over here after a really bad night I went to the Docs and told them I would pay for a ultra sound as I felt so bad, my fault should have rang the Ambos.

Been told for 4 years I had IBS, cant believe 3 years ago ended up in Hospital and they could not find any thing wrong, I was in Agony.

Had the thingy down the throat and also at the other end, not one bloody doctor said could be Gallbladder.

Perhaps more Doctors should use Google 🙂
