Good evening, Rose, Hawk, Icy and all here tonight xx
It's the usual frenetic pace here at the moment, but it's about to slow down to a most splendid and happy controlled halt ... well almost, then there's a slight hurtle towards the first week in December when our annual music gathering happens! We're thinking we'll start decorating the music room this weekend and take it slowly from there (yes, right!).
Meanwhile, hope everyone here is having a great week and the weather is warming up? It is puddling along a bit here, quite cold at night still and there was even snow on the highlands a week ago ..
Then again, bring it on, I'll take as much snow as I can, after all, "I'm dreaming of a white Christmas" (still) ...

Hi to all the posters
It has certanly warmed up here today was in the 30ies so plenty warm.
The snakes are out and about as well have run over 2 on the road, one was right out the front of our place, while it slithered off rather slowly I havent seen it since so with luck its now a good snake.
Hi Icy its been a while but its been a while for most people.
and wishing the birthday person a nice day

I miss the birds in Australia, not the snakes.
Mind you snakes are very interesting to me as we dont have them here

Moring
Hi Rosie I like the birds as well and in recent times have taken a great liking to the Magpie after seeing them attacking a smaller brown snake.
They have become quite friendly and I can walk close to them and they just watch until they feel I have moved far enough away from them.
They have a quite a voice
We have a number of lizards on our property and I am always happy to see them sunning themselves, the blue tongues come into the shed and hunt for spiders under the lower rail of the shed, the willy wag tails check the higher rails, everone gets a feed

Hi hawk, I miss my family of Magpies and the stunning Parrots, very tame ones.
We had a Blue tongue in the Yard we called him Russell because of the noise he made walking on the leaves.
I did have a snake one year under the Spa pool, I left him alone and he left me alone.
I knew he would find a mate in Spring and go off.
I did not use the Spa after that
