I still remember my Grand farther reading me Rupert Bear books, apparently they are no longer suitable for children in this time of political correctness

I have nice warm toes at the moment, the cat is laying across my feet.
My favourite books as a kid were Enid Blyton books - especially the cherry tree farm/ willow tree farm books.
The magic faraway books were a close second

We had lots of books, Mum was a great reader.
I gave 4 cartons away before I left the Gold Coast and I still have a big book shelf full
Some books you just cant give away.

those enid blyton books are quite dear to buy especially some of the older ones
