Some times it is better to sell the lot, because the units would be your neighbours 🙂

i would sell the lot (lion) either to a investor or developer am3 (well i'd take anyones money providing its a fair offer)
the house isnt ideally positioned to be kept for subdivision and its an old fibro too
i have not done any improvements on the house.. only maintained it to be liveable (comfortable while im here
..it would get demolished if a developer buys it, for sure

That's true lion. My MIL sold her house and 40 acres to a developer in Whitianga. They paid her when they did the deal and she still had 5 years to live there (she bought another house and rented it out) . I don't think I would have accepted that offer, as it would have been worth a lot more in 5 yrs time. Bit of a gamble I suppose, when is the right time to sell.

Whitianga is a beautiful place but so hard to get in and out of, Just seems miles off the beaten track.
My friends brother has a house for sale there on the water front think he want nearly two Mil for it
