And why do these shows always have to have a formula? The spunky guy usually blonde and half smiley, think the mentalist, Jax, Ragnar Lodbrock. The annoying woman, Tara, Styler, Rita
Anyhow I'm off swinging today you might find me in the golden triangle somewhere
cheers

mornin all
Koe when the flush pipe leaks its usually the black rubber thinkie at thre bottom where it connects to the pan, bunnings have them but they come in two sizes so check before you go or take the old one with you.
I have found that once one part causes a problem it all fails very soon, like ballcock, then the foot valve, and that rubber thingo. you may as well fit a new washer to the shot off tap on the system while your at it.

yes hawk, after a close inspection last night.. the seat washer didnt look normal, supposed to be flat
im on my way to bunnings actually, and im thinking about hotting it up a little
those inlet valves with a float always hiss away and i dont think theyre all that efficient either -could waste water too
after careful consideration i will look into buying a trick floatless one, & i might even buy a fancy braided line to the tap for it too.. to finish it off
ive already got a wooden seat and lid, should look good
bc, ive got a little pumbling experience from building fibraglass swimming pools, which comes in handy, sometimes i'd fit them out and do all the plumbing out on site, the whole bit - pump, filtration etc
i think plumbing is not all that hard really, a bit of knowledge is all thats required imo , and tradies want about $100 an hour, lol
(mebbe if there is brass welding involved, fair enough
nice mild weather here and its raining, after those scorching hot days we've had, weird
