Today we're packing a huge breakfast/lunch/snacks picnic and heading north west and coming back through Cradle Mountain.

Three sections down it ripped a big tree out.

The weather is giving us a hard time lately and I believe it will get worse as we change the climate by removing large areas of rain forest around the world

Hawk I agree, the past few years they have had Tornado's in Auckland as well, some thing never heard of before.

The weather in New Zealand is so different from when I was young

Tas sounds like you are having a wonderful time with friends. Don't forget how to speak english though, most of us will not understand a word you say. Well maybe the odd word. lol.

Lion you have had earthquakes, volcanic activity and now a tornado. What next I wonder? I was talking to a NZ'er at Christmas lunch, he said Australia has snakes and spiders, NZ has earthquakes and volcanos. Not far wrong. 🙂
