Hi Rosie and Katy

Dog has settled in ..thinks he owns the place ..
Seems to be more of a mans dog ..follows sd around everywhere .

Mum has said that she would take a rescue if she lost the boys ..but I bet she didn't think it would be this quick .

Rosie you get used to having them around ..so quiet with no pets .

The thing was annie I had never been with out children or animals.

Mike went away to work and all of a sudden it was just ME

Could not stand it, had to have a little animal or adopt a child 🙂

Think the animal.cat was the best bet

Talking about animals

Dunno whether I told you about my trip to the airport a few weeks ago ..??

Was driving along and in the middle of the other lane was a wallaby ..laying there frozen
But with his head up and looking at me ..
He had been his by a car but was still alive .
I thought he is going to get splattered if a car comes along ,so I reversed back
Went over to him ..it was like he was paralyzed..Except for his head ..
Open the boot,looking for something to pick wrap him in ..nothing .Heard car coming

So I just picked him up and put him in the boot ..he didn't move ..opened the middle seat so he had air and went to the airport ..
Thought he would die ..if not then would get oh to put him out of his misery .
Just couldn't leave him there to be hit again ...

Get to airport ..heard a few thumps ..

Peeked in boot .He was sitting up looking at me ..he was a bit lopsided .
Pick up niece and her boyfriend ,said you will have to sit on your cases .. I've got a hitchhiker ha ha .
Get back farm ,gets big towel ..oh is going crook pmsl !
Open boot ,tried to catch him . He went mental ..hopped out and of he went ...what the !!!
I swear he was twice the size then the one I put in there ..!!!
Any way .he is still alive ,been living it the hedge for three weeks ,he lost the fur on his
Back end ..but he comes out and wobbles around ..heaps of food down there for him too .

He must have just been stunned ...

Very lucky wallaby ..he isn't as scared as he was ,but would never get close enough to catch him to take him to the vet ...think he will survive ok now it's been this long .

Was so funny me trying to get him out of the boot ,niece went hysterical rofl
Oh was going you put him in there you can get him out ..got one scratch ..considering how peed of he was I was lucky only to get that .

I once stopped to pick up a bird on the road 🙂

That is hilarious Annie. Pick up passengers and say ,sorry there is a wallaby in the boot,, you will have to cram in the backseat. rofl.

He probably was stunned, as well he might be. Both after the car accident and after Annie. 🙂

I once stopped to pick up a turtle in the middle of the road. My mistake, it was dead and stinking. Nothing smells as bad as a dead turtle. 

I picked up a duck once, it was stunned and sitting in the middle of the road. Put it back inside the gate it came from and in the shade. Hope it made it!

A Friend of mine once came around with a Water Dragon that had its tail run over (dont know way people bring these injured animals to me)

I gave him some water and took him to the Vet up the road.

Was so lucky the guy from Currumbin Bird Sanctuary was there, he said he would take the Lizard with him to be looked after.

He said heaps of them get their tails run over and are OK

I really wanted to keep him in my fish pond LOL I love Lizards

Katy I found a galah on the road ..took it home ..was stunned as ..

Then it came alive and started flying round the kitchen ...what a mess !

The wild life rescue people came and got it ..

He died , they said he had. Virus in his chest ..that's why he was just sitting in the middle if the high way .

Lol Rosie I get the injured animals too .

Weather is perfect here today ...woot !

Beautiful day here today.

Next week I have to take my car in for a new water pump, heck my car is not that old but the mechanic says it seems to be this model of car GRRRR.

Trying to work out how I can get back from the mechanics, because I know nothing about the buses here LOL. will have to google.

I need the car by Thursday to get the stitches out.
