I had a flu injection one year, my husband dragged me along with him.

For 5 days I could not sit, lay down or stand with out bad pains through out my body, I was nearly crying with pain, never again.

both of us were crook with the cough thing since early August, ended up with all sorts of tests, blood tests and xrays as doctor thought mine may have been Pneumonia, it was a serious bacterial lung infection and a mixture of antibiotics finally got on top of it.

Shame the same cant be said for a different issue that showed up in blood tests but we are still here for now at least.

Think I had another spider bite during this period as I was so tired sleeping up to 14 hours some days and had a rash with some blisters just like the last bite I had a while back.

warm water in the shower felt like acid burning and then it would itch like crazy.

OH I think is finally getting on top of her cough and she had a flue injection, shame what we had was bacterial and not viral.

IMO Flue shots at not the cure all some think they are

Hi hawk hope you and your other half are feeling better,  Have your Doctor Check you for Shingles.

Stress can make Shingles worse.

Good afternoon all. I hope everyone is on the mend and getting well again.

Peter and I have been battling this horrible cold and lung infection for more than three weeks. One of us may feel a little better and try to help the other one. Some days I did not even cook a meal, as none of us wanted to eat. Sleeping sitting up in the recliner without tilting it back.

And Lion Rose, I too am allergic to Pine tree pollen. Having Pine trees as windbreaks all around the farms here does not help.

Never mind about all the little complaints, this Earthquake last night was really scary. I hope you and your family are OK and no damage has been done to your home.

Dear Hawk, please give my regards to Sheryl. We must have been battling the same bugs at the same time. Peter and I seem better during the day, it's night time that still gives us problems.

It's no fun getting old.

Hawk and Lind all OK here the earth quake was south island but felt all over NZ.

I had a civil defence text warning of Tsunami saying to go inland immediately.

It was 2 in the morning and I was like sleep  walking, I turned the computer and tv on to watch up dates.

Thought I should really put the cat in her carrier and go, then I got another text saying all ok just a Marine warning now.

Tried to sleep when got another text saying if you evacuated you can go home now.

Could not sleep at all so got out of bed and had a cup of tea, waited till nearly first light and went down to the beach to see the sun rise.

Got buzzed by a Helicopter, I was the only one on the beach, naughty LOL

The birds on the beach seemed not to worried so all ok.

Went home still could not sleep, finally feel asleep on the sofa for about 4 hours, think a early night tonight.

good to hear all is well Rosie.

We had a tenant once that would complain the neighbors cat would sit on his car and people would even knock on his door, he even wanted us to remove a shed so he could get his car into the back yard so he could turn it around because he didnt like reversing
