Google * Playtika credit card charges . help needed

My sister has just noticed 3 charges on her credit card in the last month stating the following

Google *Playtika LTD Google.com/ch . including overseas TXN Fees 0.19 aud

She has not ever bought any games or credit for games and have no idea where these charges are coming from .

Has anyone had this happen to them or know of anyone that has . Any info would be greatfully appriciated

Tell her to ring her bank immediately.  They are the only ones who can do anything about it.

Does she have any apps on her phone that could be running up charges, or more to the point, does she have kids?

Yes, phone the bank as soon as possible. They willlook into it as a disputed transaction. If it was unauthorised (fraud)she will get the money refunded, if it was so something she initiated but has forgotten doing it (or family member did it) she has to pay a fee.

Her card should be cancelled..if it is a scam, so the scammers can't get anymore money.

My daughter has:
Been scammed from her bank a/c $29.95 p.mth twice - refunded by bank
Had her details skimmed at an ATM oseas. Refunded $200
Been mugged! Travel ins will refund lost cash.

I know of someone in Sydney who lost money from ATM skimming recently.

Plenty of scammers out there, sophisticated methods used to scam

Will get her to look into the Apps thing but nothing that I could think that she would be running that would incurr charges.

I am not sure about playtika but beware Playsation 4 too.

Unconscionable and deceitful conduct imo to play and suck in kids.

PSN automatically deducted $10 every 2 weeks ( not for long, I was onto it) after he downloaded one game or app.

Luckily for us it was an agreement to fill up his online psn WALLET. Would have looked like a **bleep** at the bank.

Clearly there was a box hidden in settings that needed to be unchecked.

I am careful, but he really had to go into his settings to stop it happening again. 

And no way will I put a credit card up again. Will buy a psn card.

Playtika looks like a Casino app, where you use real cash to buy chips credit.

Your sister needs to check her phone for any apps that would be doing it; she may have clicked on a pop up ad by accident even, and downloaded one that way.

I had charges on my credit card for Google playtika ltdg.co/playhelp#ca. I called the credit card company and reported unauthorized charges.  They cancelled that card and issued another one. I just got my first statement for the new card and more charges for Google playtika are on the new card!  I have no idea where these charges are coming from.
