I love seeing graffiti, especially ones with a message.

In Alice Springs if some one puts graffiti on your building or fence and you do not remove it in a set time they will have it removed charge you the cost and also fine you as well.:-()

My neighbour put up a beautiful timber fence and not even two weeks and some dumb little **bleep**s sprayed childish naughty words over it. Not good....

Under the bridges between Uki and Surfers there are some very well done graffiti. I will see if I can find some of the photos I took on that trip.

Icy they are great! I saw a few driving around today but they were in places where I couldn't pull over. They look great and they imo brighten the place up.

These next 2 pics are across the road from the army barricks. They have been redone as someone had added extra art to them.......and I am kicking myself for not getting the snaps when I first saw it 😕 as I am certain 1 or 2 IDs here would have appreciated what was added.

Years ago we lived in a suburb  at the bottom of Greenmount Hill, just east of Perth. About half way up the hill, right beside the highway was a big rock with a flat face, and someone painted on it  ALL HAVE SINNED. A few days later another bright spark wrote underneath and very nice too.

 In due course,  the council whitewashed over it, but before long another sign appeared: GOD CALLS YOU which soon provoked the  follow-up: A  T U R D.

This little exchange went the same way as the first one and we all waited with baited breath to see what would appear next. Sure enough a couple of weeks later up popped another short, sharp message: P T O.

 That one stayed there for years, but eventually Mr Elephant and I moved away, so whether there is anything still there today I don't know.

Years ago a church in Hawthorn Vic had a billboard out side

to make passing motorists think-changed every week.

Appeared---what would you do if Christ came to Hawthorn this week?.
