Grateful in April

30 days of sharing what you are thankful for. Today I am grateful for the people in my life. How about you? What are you grateful for?

Re: Grateful in April

I am so grateful to the WA farmers who donated hay, and the truckies who carried it across the country to rescue our outback farmers. Trucks get less than 2km to a litre of fuel, so you can imagine the cost to these blokes to transport it across the country.

51 trucks rolled in to Bourke yesterday afternoon.
Bloody heroes I reckon.

Re: Grateful in April

I am grateful that so many people love my grandaughters and want to spend time with them but a bit ungrateful as well, when is it my turn?

I am grateful to my daughter for her written instructions for my trip to woop woop via Brisbane northside today and most ungrateful for my GPS.

Welding gloves might come in handy, Skwerl. They go quite feral and do not get along mostly because Willow is so territorial. You should see them when they have a full on brawl -they look and sound like the Tasmanian devil in the Bugs Bunny cartoons. A blur of murderous sound whirling past.......lol.
