Spoiler can be used if discussing a TV show/reality show/result of a televised sports game. Some people don't want to know the result until they have watched it themselves ( due to time differences in Australia)

Grey blobs - a thread that has had no new posts since you posted on it.

the green background appears when you  have started a thread and "accept that post as solution" it turns green.

i like green that's why my threads are green.

don't know what you mean with grey blobs.

Grey blobs = They look like the RED 'dots' on they are grey.

One more question - what is kudo ? used for.

aahhh i see. never looked much at the blobs.

kudos is when you like someones post or agree with what is said, or when you think a post is particularly good and worth reading.

then  you give kudos, it's like bowing to someones great intellectual output.
