I find it a bit amusing really.....she has certainly not created any Peace in the world.....she has as many detractors as supporters.

I'll probably get howled at, but.......I'm sick of hearing about this jumped up 'activist'

She's encouraging kids to stay out of school and protest.  How is that good for the young generation?  If she wants to give up school, that's her choice.

She's also reliant on others to get her around the world for her protests.

She's disrespectful of her elders, no matter her thoughts on climate change.

She has Asperger's, so is wholly and solely focused on her cause and nothing else.

A lot of people with Asperger's tend to say what they think with little or no disregard for others.

I've had my say, and I won't be entering into any discussions with anybody, so go ahead, jump.

I agree with you stawks.  I find some of her outbursts verging on the hysterical.  She has almost become a religious icon.

If she rankles Trump, the right wing commentators and the coal backing dinosaurs in office, she must be doing something good. Well done,Greta.

You just look at her eyes and you can see she's full of anger and hate - definitely not peace! She can't even speak calmly but has to attack everyone - everything is everyone else's fault. I think she seems quite vindictive!

I have to wonder what she's doing personally to combat climate change (and all the other activists) - does she only buy locally? Does she avoid technical gadgets that are obsolete after a short time and can't be recycled? Does she keep her travel to a minimum and only travel in a way that causes the least pollution, even if it's slower? Does she keep physical possessions to a minimum, especially those made of plastic?

Travelled to Spain by yacht to the climate summit instead of flying.

You forgot to add that nothing is EVER their fault! Some of them deliberately like to provoke and annoy others and get a real kick out of it.

What I find interesting about all the protests is that I haven't once heard any suggestions on how people can reduce their own personal impact on climate change. It's all about how "the govt" should do something. Greta's the same - it's all someone else's fault and she's blameless.

By the way, how was she supposed to get to the U.N in New York from Norway? Swim?
