If the posting content or style of a particular member is causing problems for you, there is a feature available to ignore all posted content from that member. This allows you to avoid unwanted or undesirable post
content. You can learn more about this function here:

Any posts that explicitly violate the eBay Board Usage Policy
http://pages.ebay.com.au/help/policies/everyone-ov.html

can be reported for review.
 To report a post, click the “Report Abuse” link located on every post, and select the violation from the pull-down menu.

Alternatively, you might choose to start an eBay Group
http://community.ebay.com.au/help.jspa#groups

As a Group Leader, you can select either a public or private setting and either allow public participation or limit the membership to a specific subset of friends and
acquaintances which will allow you to restrict the conversation to only those with whom you wish to engage.

no prim ,it wasn't at an airport ,it was...a cafe you should know that ,you have the posts

i had one id ..who gives a toss and posted a few norti (possible annoying pics )B-) about 3  ..if i recall ..it was over 4 years ago .

and btw .. katy has been accused of this ,she wasn't there

but ya's know that too !

it was the way some threads/posts of a despicable or disgusting nature stay here for days, yet a seemingly inane post can go in seconds.

Perhaps as Meep suggested that may be addressed by a moderator.

I dont think this thread was meant to criticise ebay groups but the proposed solution to deal with posts  that explicitly violate the eBay Board Usage Policy

Why does it take days to action reports of posts that clearly violate the posting policy?

I have been out shopping and just got back to read up to the second page and wanted to quote this before I go further and get distracted.

Exactly, I didn't post this to criticise groups, I am not in any and have no idea what groups there are.

I didn't like that clear violations were left there for days or being told how to fix the problem of not liking it......which is not why I asked for an explanation.

Please please, don't get bogged down in arguing about the distant past, it would be appreciated if a Community Guide can really tell us what is going on with reported posts etc.:-)

I don't believe posts reported are not read by a mod, I have had some replies which indicate they do read them and I am equally certain they are not making it up.
