I thought this might be of help.:|
It isn't to me..... as it is not applicable to what I have concerns about..........
If the posting content or style of a particular member is causing problems for you, there is a feature available to ignore all posted content from that member. This allows you to avoid unwanted or undesirable post
content. You can learn more about this function here:
http://community.ebay.com.au/help.jspa#setprofile
Any posts that explicitly violate the eBay Board Usage Policy
http://pages.ebay.com.au/help/policies/everyone-ov.html
can be reported for review.
To report a post, click the “Report Abuse” link located on every post, and select the violation from the pull-down menu.
Alternatively, you might choose to start an eBay Group
http://community.ebay.com.au/help.jspa#groups
As a Group Leader, you can select either a public or private setting and either allow public participation or limit the membership to a specific subset of friends and
acquaintances which will allow you to restrict the conversation to only those with whom you wish to engage.

Oh and they could pick up a few pointers from an elephants verbosity, literary skills and eloquence 🙂
Aww, shucks, Pod; I didn't know you cared.

At first glance, some posts appear to be non violations but when shown why, you can see they are sometimes......but my post was reportable. You can't call an op an idiot and think it's not......:8}
My issue is, it went in minutes.... the filth and the id being used to impersonate other posters, stayed.

Oh he cares, 24/7 :-x :^O

Of course I care 🙂 I would hate to upset an elephant with all that bulk.
Pays to play it safe 😉

Why would people be PAID to read reported posts on a simple chat board?...... It doesn't make sense!!....
I am sure there are many, many places that offer social networking service that would be more than happy having you work for free :^O:^O:^O

Because, it is up to the discretion of individual moderators to determine if a removal is warranted or not. What may seem like a justified decision to issue a warning, upon reviewing an appeal, it can be determined that the content may not have been in clear violation after all.
I dont necessarily have a problem with that so much as the time it takes to remove some posts and not others. Its supposed to be moderated 24/7.
Who would possibly be able to keep up with this lot of self righteous posters?

Meep if the post was read in the first place there would be no slap.
Some posts of mine have been just silly.
Always get a lot over turned but you have to write and ask why.
I cant comment on that because I don't know the content of the post so I can neither agree or disagree.
