@shepherdsrule wrote:I guess she believed the tripe he told her, bad marriage, bad wife, he was leaving her, they would be married, oldest story in the world, but she beleived him......just like millions of others, (maybe even some readers here)
The only reason we have heard her story is because this ended in tragedy......
He is the gulitly scum bag, she may have had her priority's a little muddled, but she is no killer, why is she being tarred with the same brush as him.
'a little muddled' she was a home wrecker.

I can't imagine having an affair with a married person, sitting around waiting for them to be able to spend a bit of time with you, in this case, not likely to ever be on a weekend. The married person obviously lying all the time to be able to get away from home. Really who could be bothered with that for 3 years!!

Takes two to tango. Her continuing an affair with GBC for 3 yrs or so made Allison's life miserable...TMcH didn't ever consider that only what she wanted.
I don't know why TMcH didn't tell Allison herself the affair was still on, especially if she was getting tired of waiting for G to take action to free himself,

but she did meet a man at work that she liked..... he just happened to married with a young family & so was she, that didn't seem to matter to her

I'm waiting for the announcement that McHugh has donated her payment to the foundation for Allison's children.

why would she?
I think, given the life insurance and the public donations, not to mention centrelink entitlements, plus the payment from the Government for victims of crime, the children probably have enough $ to set them up for a very comfortable life, finance wise.
No amount of money can replace their mother.

TMcH (wrongly) doesn't see Allison or the girls as a concern in her life before or after Allison's death. I find it unusual that people think (seen it suggested a lot online) that she would donate part or all of payment she gets from the media to GBC's daughters.
If I was in the place of the girls maternal grandparents, I would probably reject any offer of money (tainted) from her anyway.

Well then let's all 'fess up.
Once I was on a dating website and one of my criteria was single or DIVORCED only. Separated men don't bother.
ANYWAY
I met a man who was just fabulous but on our third date he 'fessed up with an apology, he was actually only separated, BUT it was permanent, there was NO CHANCE of a reconciliation. It was our third date so I was sure he lived alone.
I gave him the benefit of the doubt, and he went back to his family 5 weeks later.
He said it was for the kids, but hey, if he lied once then I sure doubted his honesty after that.
Now 'fess up the rest of you.
That is silly, unthinking, naive OR scumbag guys and girls, please come clean!
We might educate each other to the tricks others play.

Never been on a dating website.................
Dated a married man when I was 19 but when I found out (the following day), that was it! scumbag! 10 years later, he dated my sister, who is 12 years younger than me. I was gobsmacked and when I told her, she was really angry, angry enough to call his wife. The wife just accepted that he cheated. Old scumbag!
